Pioneering Youth Empowerment
The Internet Village Gambia is a youth-focused change makers platform pioneering initiative designed to connect talented young creatives with businesses, addressing the country's youth unemployment and unskilled crisis.
Launched in 2021, Internet Village aims to nurture young content creators into micro-entrepreneurs, providing them with the skills, mentorship, and resources to succeed in the creative economy. The project has grown to over 365 members by 2025, supported by Good Deeds Day and European Union Youth Empowerment Project YEP. Our mission is to create opportunities that would not have been available to young Gambians, leveraging the fourth industrial revolution to overcome barriers to entry in the content creation industry.
